Areas of Practice
Everyone can benefit from going through the estate planning process with a knowledgeable and caring San Diego estate planning attorney, but far too many people put it off. Why? Some assume that their estate is not large enough. Others have the mistaken belief that estate planning is only for the elderly. Like many things, the excuses are endless and often without meaning. The truth is estate planning is essential, not just for you and what happens to your property after you die, but also for your loved ones.
Many people are aware that the foundation of a proper estate plan is a Revocable Living Trust (though sometimes a Last Will and Testament may suffice) but may not realize that they can also benefit from lifetime asset protection planning. Asset protection planning is not about what happens to your assets when you pass away but rather about how you can protect your assets from creditors and predators during life.
A San Diego probate attorney is the person that you should turn to to get assistance with the often onerous process of California probate and help counsel you and your family when a loved one has recently passed away.
Looking forward to the future and handling your plans for Medi-Cal or dealing with them in an imminent crisis situation are both equally important. Identifying an experienced San Diego Medical Planning Attorney, who you can turn to for assistance with these complicated issues is vital for outlining a strategy that protects your assets as much as possible.
